INGREDIENTS
1 cup of milk (any type you prefer)
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
1-2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or 1-2 shots of espresso
Whipped cream (optional)
Ground cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish (optional)
DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan, combine the milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar over medium heat. Stir until it’s hot, but not boiling.
Remove from heat and add the pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract. Stir well.
Pour your hot brewed coffee or espresso into a mug.
Pour the pumpkin spice milk mixture over the coffee while using a spoon to hold back the foam.
Top with whipped cream, if desired, and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or nutmeg.
